With the arrival of Spring and hopefully the disappearance of the winter weather until December, I grabbed my camera and headed out to take advantage of some sunshine and warmth.
I had a feeling the Mute Swans would be plentiful at Presqu’ile as the ice had melted and they should be preparing for the arrival of their young over the next month or two.
I arrived on site and was pleased to find the bay littered with the large white birds. I managed to take several photos of those swans but it wasn’t until I ventured further into the park to a smaller pond where I found one lone swan setting up shop.
A Canadian Goose decided to try his luck on the pond as well but the swan would have none of that as he / she chased the goose away. These two photos were taken as the swan was returning for a landing on the pond.
