Marsh Storm

This photo is the same as an earlier photo I posted. The only difference is I did some more creative post-processing on the photo.

I think this gives the photo a more vibrant and eye-appealing look…or at least I like it better.

Marsh Thunder

While visiting one of my favourite parks to shoot nature photos, I noticed that while it was quite sunny and warm where I was, I could see a storm in the distance across the marsh.

Stopping my vehicle I grabbed my Nikon and slipped down to the shoreline and composed a few photos not knowing for sure if I would get anything I would deem worth keeping.

In the end I actually ended up with several photos I liked and this was one of them.

Dripping Tap Frozen

I belong to an online Flickr Group that involves challenges of many different varities and provides added incentive to just pick up the camera and shoot when sometimes the will to do so isn’t always there.

One of the recent challenges involved water and I chose to try and stop the water as it dripped from my kitchen tap. I think I managed to succeed in what I’d set out to accomplish and ended up with a fairly good photo in the process.
